Found leaves from Wave Hill, linen thread, Silk Organza, Mulberry paper, machine embroidered lace
Dimensions variable
Edition: Unique
After my residency at Wave Hill, I continued exploring with this type of artists books using leaves from different trees at Wave Hill, incorporating lace as if it were decorative papers in bookbinding.
The lace images are created on an embroidery machine and refer to microscopic views of plants under the microscope (not necessarily the corresponding leaves where they are bound into).
