Since 2014 when I was honored by the Joan Mitchell Foundation’s Painters & Sculptors Grant, I decided to pay homage to Joan Mitchell by documenting with a photograph every time I encounter one of her works.
This is an ongoing project.
I am forever grateful to Joan Mitchell, for her vision and generosity in supporting artists. And to my (undisclosed) nominator!
